Sandra Bullock: Scarlett Johansson is a great kisser

Sandra Bullock has raved about locking lips with Scarlett Johansson at the MTV Movie Awards over the weekend.

“Ryan is right – Scarlett is a great kisser,” the Oscar-winner declared.

Johansson had stepped in for her husband Ryan Reynolds, who co-stared with Bullock in The Proposal, at the awards show where the on-screen duo were nominated for Best Kiss.

“I thought you should have won … it was a great kiss,” the 25-year-old told The Blind Side star on stage, at which point they moved towards one another and began kissing.

“No matter what you might have seen or heard or read lately, I love what I do. And I’m not going anywhere,” Bullock said during her MTV Generation Award acceptance speech.

Friday marked Jennier Love Hewitt’s 29th birthday. She and fiancee Ross McCall celebrated at steakhouse Morton’s in L.A.

As yet another mark of her lack of current hotness, only one paparazzi member showed up to capture the event. The picture taker said, “I just wanetd to wish you a happy birthday on behalf fof all the paparazzi. Unfortunately, the other 500 guys are on Britney right now.”

These two are enjoying pairing off with other couples and hitting the town. Just last week, They headed out with Will Smith and Jada Pinkett. Now, Tom and Katie are out with old friends of Tom’s.

Tom and Katie were spotted at Wolfgang Puck’s Cut steakhouse with Forest and Keisha Whitaker. Tom co-starred with Forest in 1986 in The Color of Money.

Jon Stewart Awards Angelina’s Baby Bump

As more and more Hollywood ladies announce that they are expecting, it can be hard to keep up. Jon Stewart had an amusing take on the whole situation at Sunday night’s Oscar ceremony.

He gave a shoutout to the expectant mothers in the audience, including Jessica Alba and Cate Blanchett. He then announced, in a presenter voice, “and the baby goes to…Angelina Jolie!”

Tom Cruise Private Show

In a surprise visit to the rehearsal studios of The Spice Girls, film stars Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, along with 19th month old daughter Suri; were treated to an impromptu private performance.It seems that having friends like Victoria and David Beckham on their speed dial has there bonuses. Following the surprise visit, Victoria said: “David and I are great friends with Tom and Katie. It was lovely of them to come down to rehearsals, a really nice surprise.

“Katie has told me before that she used to be a huge Spice Girls fan, so it was great for her to meet the other girls.”

Apparently this is what makes news these days. In essence some people went to visit friends where they had a sing song and a boogie. But because they are famous the world has to know about it. I sigh in exasperation and say good for them.

On a more relevant note, The Spice Girls are joining the reunion wagon and their tour kicks off in December. Is it the in thing for old bands to reunite this year?

Hally Berry’s Man Going for “Father of the Year”

The baby isn’t even here yet, but Gabriel Aubry is already hard at work trying to be a good daddy. He’s reading every parenting book he can get his hands on. His personal fave? He says, “There’s a good one that Dr. Phil did titled Family First.”

He’s also doing his best to make sure expectant mother Halle Berry is as comfortable as possible. He massages her feet and finds the foods to satisfy her every craving. Now isn’t that a good man?

Aubry also spends time talking to the baby. He says, “I talk in the mic in her bellybutton….that’s what we call it.”

With Daddy’s dashing good looks and Mommy’s beauty, this baby, due in early 2008, is sure to be a pretty one!

Pete Wentz Not such a Knight in Shining Armour

Ok girls, if you heard that Pete Wentz was the modern day hero for sticking up for his girlfriend, I am afraid he denies all knowledge. It was rumoured the Fallout Boy bassist had filed claims against Canadian band Neurosonic, to prevent them from releasing a song which basically takes the mickey out of his missus, Ashlee Simpson.

Neurosonic wrote the song, So Many People, in response to Simpson’s disastrous TV performance on Saturday Night Live in 2004 which caught her lip-synching

But Wentz claims that the reports of a cease a desist notice sent to the rockers are untrue. He insists he doesn’t know anything about the band or their song; “If your songs are good then sleep easy and have fun playing them – just don’t attach me to them.”

Good song or not Pete, that’s your girlfriend they are mocking. Grow a backbone man!

Angie & Brad “Make it Right”

 

Part of being obscenely wealthy and well-known is helping out those who are less fortunate.  And this holiday season, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are making their philanthropy a family affair.

The “Beowulf” actress and her 6-year-old son Maddox headed down to the Big Easy (New Orleans, for those of you that aren’t in the know) to lend some support to Daddy Brad Pitt’s “Make it Right” gig.

Jolie spent the day hobnobbing with National Guardsmen in the Lower 9th Ward.  She also attended a news conference where Pitt was announcing his latest homebuilding plan for hurricane victims.

If you have $150,000 laying around collecting dust, you can adopt a house with the “Make it Right” peeps and brighten a family’s holiday season.  Take it from Brangelina… they’ve already pledged $5 million.

Lance Loves the Ladies

If you are one of the many who is a little disturbed by Lance Armstrong’s supposed relationship with Baby Michelle (a.k.a. Ashley Olsen), read on because you just may feel a little bit better.

Apparently Lance doesn’t exactly like the new image he’s gotten – you know, as a cradle robber. So, he’s found a new woman to make out with, I mean hook up with.

Sources have found him getting awfully cozy with an unknown blonde when he attended the Nascar Nextel Cup Series Party at Club Marquee. She looks a little older than Ashley, a little more his type. She is petite, but not in a bones-sticking-out sort of way.

Seems ole Lance is trying to make up for lost time by making out with woman after woman. Ladies, if you’re in the New York area and are looking for love, look for Lance.
